DESCRIPTION:It only happens once every two years and is such a magical time in the school… We truly hope you will come join us for our 7th Whole School Show\, ‘Fairest Of Them All’ and join us in celebrating and showcasing the amazing skill\, talent and hard work of all our participating students of all ages and abilities… \nStep into a world of beauty\, bravery and belonging in ‘Fairest of Them All’\, Roynon Performing Arts’ 7th bi-annual whole school performance and a captivating reimagining of a much-loved fairy tale. \nBrought to life by students of all ages and abilities\, this enchanting production combines dynamic dance\, expressive song and powerful storytelling. When jealousy threatens to upset the balance between good and evil\, courage\, kindness and truth must shine through to restore harmony. \nFeaturing striking choreography\, moving performances and stunning visual moments\, Fairest of them All celebrates individuality\, resilience and the power of community. From impressive ensemble numbers to heartfelt solos\, the show showcases the hard work\, technical skill and artistic growth nurtured at Roynon Performing Arts. \nEstablished in 1981\, Roynon is a longstanding provider of high-quality teaching and progression\, and this production stands as a proud reflection of decades of dedication to excellence in the performing arts. More than a show\, it is a joyful celebration of students of all ages and abilities finding their voice and shining on stage in a safe\, supportive and inspiring environment. \nOther entertainment and things to do will also include doors opening with Swan Samba\, the local drum and movement group who perform at the likes of Utilita Bowl international cricket\, Winchester Bonfire Procession and Queens Baton Relay. A raffle will also be held in aid of Roynon student\, Olivia. DESCRIPTION:Come see & support our lovely performance team in The Rectory @ St Peter’s Country Fayre\, Bishops Waltham!  \nThe girls will be displaying a variety of skills they’ve been practising and supported with in the studio\, including our traditional maypole dance for the event.  \nIt’s hard to believe but this will be our 16th consecutive year for the Fayre\, making it the longest running provision for Roynon!  \nSt Peter’s Country Fayre is a lovely local community event with plenty of things to see and do for all ages. Our friends Swan Samba are also making a return and will be opening the event at 10:45.  \nCome and support the local event and be a part of a Roynon date that is older than the school itself!  \nHopefully see you there. x

DESCRIPTION:This is the second set date in the summer term for ISTD dance exams… \nRoynon Performing Arts pride itself on offering students quality support and progression and follow recognised ISTD syllabus for dance genres such as ballet and contemporary.  \nThe school has a strong\, proven history of achieving high grades in exams. These are a great way in which to prove learning as well as support key life skills such as time management\, proving skills in a controlled environment\, confidence and communication / listening skills.  \nWe are proud to run exams at cost\, as we fully appreciate the cost and time involved in getting ready for and attending sessions. But despite there being an additional workload to undertake (teachers included!) we believe the benefits far outweigh the burden.  \nWe recommend that our dancers undertake exams but recognise that some students are either not ready\, too busy or have specific needs that may mean undertaking an exam may be counterproductive. We support students regardless of their ability\, their path and their reason for dancing.
