It may look like lots of information, but we’ve included everything you need in one place so you can refer back to it throughout the year. Simply scroll to the genre and class your child attends to find their uniform requirements
A few helpful hints & tips:
Hair
- Ballet: Hair should be neatly secured in a bun using pins and a ballet net.
- All other classes: Hair should be in a neat ponytail or another style that keeps hair off the face.
- Please ensure hair is neat and tidy before entering class.
In class
- No jewellery or watches.
- Phones should not be used during class.
- No crop tops.
- No jumpers or joggers in class unless it is particularly cold and your teacher has agreed they can be worn for warm-up.
Dance shoes
We recommend purchasing dance shoes from a specialist dance shop wherever possible and having your child’s shoes professionally fitted.
Children’s feet grow quickly, and the correct fit is important for comfort, support and safe movement. Please avoid buying dance shoes several sizes too big with the intention of making them last longer.
If you’re unsure which shoes your child needs, please check the uniform requirements for their class before purchasing.
