Such an amazing dance school, what absolutely blows me away is not just the fantastic dance/performance training but that Sarah and her team invest so much in making sure all the children and young people are happy and well supported. Mental well being is a priority in this dance school (as it should be in all) and my daughter has absolutely adored and thrived being in this environment enabling her to fulfil her dream of attending musical theatre college. She is so sad to leave this year, we can't recommend highly enough

A fab, friendly dance school with hugely talented, supportive and hard working teachers. I've danced at the school for over 30 years, I now take the adult tap class with a wonderful bunch of ladies - it's very relaxed and theres always lots of laughs! My daughters take ballet, modern, tap and hip hop classes and love it - they've made great friends outside of their usual school friends and dancing has helped to develop their confidence and self esteem, with the encouragement and support of their teachers.

Roynon is fantastic. I have 2 girls who attend multiple classes across the wide range available. The teachers are all professional, passionate and determined to ensure the children have fun whilst progressing and learning. My girls have definitely gained confidence and benefitted hugely from being a part of the Roynon family. During Covid they have continued learning online which has been a lifeline. The teachers have worked really hard in difficult circumstances to ensure a safe fun environment for all. I would thoroughly recommend Roynon for anyone looking for great classes for their children.

Teaching for Roynon performing arts is a delight. The children are incredibly hardworking, polite and talented. They are always striving to improve, which is all you can ever ask for as a teacher. The studios are lovely to dance in too.Roynon performing arts is a lifeline for me. It really cheers me up going in to teach the lovely dancers. I always leave inspired but how hard they all work. The principal, Miss Sarah is always keen to offer workshops with working professionals. So not only do you get excellent technique classes you get to learn from working professionals too. You learn tips and tricks of the industry which so many of the students are keen to go into.I urge you to take a trial class and I guarantee you’ll love it. You become part of a family and receive some of the best technique training in Southampton. There is a class for everyone and the teacher are so passionate about what they do.

My daughter has been dancing with Roynon Performing Arts for the last seven years and we have seen the school go from strength to strength under Miss Sarah’s unwavering, calm and capable command! The teachers are second to none and as a result, dance has become a central part of my daughter’s life, as her love for dance grows and grows. What a beautiful ability to instil in my daughter – thank you very much Roynon Performing Arts.

I started taking ballet classes with Roynon Performing Arts when I was 4 years old. Their classes and the support given to me by my teachers at RDS undoubtedly led me to get into one of the top schools for contemporary dance in the country.
I was always able to go to Miss Sarah for advice with my dancing and she would point me in the direction of the latest local and national opportunities available to me.
My teachers were all incredible and inspiring. As well as a springboard into the contemporary dance world, Roynon Performing Arts also became a second family to me. My peers and my teachers became a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of revision throughout my GCSE’s and A Levels.
I would never have been able to complete these were it not for the breaks where I could dance amongst my friends.

I attended Roynon Dance Swanmore from the age of 4 right up until I was 19, when I left for uni.
Throughout the years, as well as dancing different styles (ballet & pointe, tap, modern, jazz, contemporary and hip-hop, to name a few!) and progressing up the grades, I learned a lot about friendship and hard work. Alongside working for the dance exams, we were able to put on incredible shows every two years (Hansel & Gretel, Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan were especially memorable for me), as well as perform at village fairs, talent shows, and a couple of particularly special weddings!
The senior girls were also given the opportunity to help out with the younger classes, which was so much fun and built friendships between girls of all different ages.
I am so grateful to the school for the wonderful memories I now have from over the years, and all of the amazing experiences we had.
Roynon is truly a family – the students all support one another, and the teachers/ assistants are all so friendly and approachable, creating a lovely atmosphere that kept many of us coming back for years.
They do this, of course, whilst keeping a strict class and making us knuckle down when needed.
We were all made to feel special and were taught the mindset that if you work hard enough for something, you can achieve anything.
Roynon will always have a special place in my heart and I cannot recommend it enough

Roynon Performing Arts is great! It provides all the support you need.
It is a complete break from everything else that might be going on (school, other clubs), where you can learn in a fun way along with learning new styles of dance. All the tea
