Swan Samba came to our work away day. We learnt about the history of Samba drumming and had a fantastic interactive team building practical session. It was a perfect addition to our away day, with a great impact and lots of fun 🤩 fantastic for well-being and team dynamics.

After previously playing guitar and learning at ACM Guildford I took some time out from playing, after a few years I decided I wanted to get back into it. So I started guitar lessons with Gary, he is a wealth of knowledge and has approached me with a different learning style which has really valuable in helping me learn more about guitar and I’m really enjoying our sessions!Gary brings an awesome energy to our session , he has a huge passion for music! Thanks for all so far Gary!

Roynon performing Arts and Swan Samba band performed at Hedge End Carnival on 1st July. It was fantastic to have the Swan Samba band as part of the procession the rhythm of the drums had the streets dancing with feedback received was that it was like carnivals from old. The Dancers were graceful and moved as one as they performed through the streets of the procession. They band and dancers smiled the whole way round the route even in the heat of the sun making the carnival procession a memorable experience for the community.Roynon Performing Arts dancers provided an energetic dance display at Greta Park. Their performance demonstrated smooth and beautiful movements in rhythm to the music. the dancers put their heart and soul into the dance. Very gifted, well done! Would like to say congratulations to Roynon Performing Arts Dancers and swan samba band for their performances at the Carnival and Thank them for taking part.

Roynon Performing Arts is a great school. The teachers are highly skilled, enthusiastic and caring. They provide a vast variety of dance styles & music lessons to meet all abilities. Both my children have had 1-1 tuition, which was very personal & supported their individual needs. Roynon’s focus is on pupil well being as well as their teaching.

Roynon Performing Arts have supported the St Peter's Church Country Fayre for the many years with performances by their young dancers and the Swan Samba band. They are a firm favourite at the annual event and we highly recommend them! The Samba band get the fayre off to an uplifting start, and the dancers are wonderful and clearly love being at part of the groups. Thank you Sarah and Gary for all your support and we are delighted that you're part of the 2023 fayre!

Thanks to Gary and the crew at Swan Samba for accompanying our Scout St. George's Day Parade on Sunday. The procession down the aisle of Winchester Cathedral was incredible!

My daughters have been dancing with Roynon for over 9 years now. In that time the school has grown and improved enormously. The teachers care and go beyond what’s expected to help and support the pupils. The quality of the school latest show is testament to how they get the most out of all the performers. Thank you for all you do.

My daughter loves Roynon and attends a few classes a week. She has been going 6 years now and enjoys every class. Dancing at Roynon has given her a great friendship group and has grown her confidence as well as being bags of fun with lovely teachers. The recent show was a wonderful experience for the dancers and so very professional, I thoroughly enjoyed watching their progression.

Such an amazing dance school, what absolutely blows me away is not just the fantastic dance/performance training but that Sarah and her team invest so much in making sure all the children and young people are happy and well supported. Mental well being is a priority in this dance school (as it should be in all) and my daughter has absolutely adored and thrived being in this environment enabling her to fulfil her dream of attending musical theatre college. She is so sad to leave this year, we can't recommend highly enough

My daughter has been dancing with Roynon Performing Arts for the last seven years and we have seen the school go from strength to strength under Miss Sarah’s unwavering, calm and capable command! The teachers are second to none and as a result, dance has become a central part of my daughter’s life, as her love for dance grows and grows. What a beautiful ability to instil in my daughter – thank you very much Roynon Performing Arts.

I started taking ballet classes with Roynon Performing Arts when I was 4 years old. Their classes and the support given to me by my teachers at RDS undoubtedly led me to get into one of the top schools for contemporary dance in the country.
I was always able to go to Miss Sarah for advice with my dancing and she would point me in the direction of the latest local and national opportunities available to me.
My teachers were all incredible and inspiring. As well as a springboard into the contemporary dance world, Roynon Performing Arts also became a second family to me. My peers and my teachers became a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of revision throughout my GCSE’s and A Levels.
I would never have been able to complete these were it not for the breaks where I could dance amongst my friends.

I attended Roynon Dance Swanmore from the age of 4 right up until I was 19, when I left for uni.
Throughout the years, as well as dancing different styles (ballet & pointe, tap, modern, jazz, contemporary and hip-hop, to name a few!) and progressing up the grades, I learned a lot about friendship and hard work. Alongside working for the dance exams, we were able to put on incredible shows every two years (Hansel & Gretel, Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan were especially memorable for me), as well as perform at village fairs, talent shows, and a couple of particularly special weddings!
The senior girls were also given the opportunity to help out with the younger classes, which was so much fun and built friendships between girls of all different ages.
I am so grateful to the school for the wonderful memories I now have from over the years, and all of the amazing experiences we had.
Roynon is truly a family – the students all support one another, and the teachers/ assistants are all so friendly and approachable, creating a lovely atmosphere that kept many of us coming back for years.
They do this, of course, whilst keeping a strict class and making us knuckle down when needed.
We were all made to feel special and were taught the mindset that if you work hard enough for something, you can achieve anything.
Roynon will always have a special place in my heart and I cannot recommend it enough

Roynon Performing Arts is great! It provides all the support you need.
It is a complete break from everything else that might be going on (school, other clubs), where you can learn in a fun way along with learning new
